Logistics is a rapidly evolving field essential to modern supply chains. Growing global trade and consumer demands push companies to adopt innovative solutions. This study explores key trends such as automation, AI (artificial intelligence), Big Data, blockchain, mergers, and drone delivery, assessing their global impact and potential in Moldova. Using literature analysis, comparative methods, and expert evaluation, the research finds that while automation and artificial intelligence are widely used worldwide, Moldova lags in adoption. Blockchain enhances transparency, mergers consolidate markets, and drone delivery shows promise. Moldova has significant potential for digital transformation but requires investment, infrastructure, technology, and legislative support. CZU: 339.188; JEL: O33en_US
