This paper examines the impact of economic development policies on regional competitiveness in the context of territorial competition. It employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze how policies focused on innovation, infrastructure, and human capital contribute to regional economic growth and sustainability. The research highlights the importance of integrated policies that address technological innovation, infrastructure development, and human capital to enhance competitive advantages. It also explores how these policies can be adapted to different regional contexts to maximize their impact. The study further investigates the challenges regions face in implementing these policies, including issues related to governance, resource allocation, and institutional capacity. Additionally, it examines the role of regional cooperation and the interaction between public and private sectors in overcoming these barriers. Through this analysis, the paper offers insights into how well-designed economic development policies can foster sustainable growth and enhance regional competitiveness.
