International trade relies on efficient and predictable cross-border logistics, yet fragmentation between transport operations and customs procedures often results in delays, high costs, and reduced reliability. These challenges have been amplified by recent global disruptions and remain particularly burdensome for developing and landlocked countries. This article examines the causes of inefficiency and reviews current digital solutions, such as One-Stop Shops, Port Community Systems, APIs, and blockchain, which improve coordination but do not fully achieve process synchronization or data integration. To address this gap, the study proposes a conceptual algorithm for unifying transport and customs functions. Its core mechanisms include harmonized data transmission based on international standards, real-time event triggers for synchronized workflows, integrated risk assessment combining compliance and reliability factors, and digitally enabled collaborative protocols. By enhancing predictability and reducing clearance variability, the proposed model strengthens logistics resilience, lowers operational costs, and improves competitiveness, offering a sustainable pathway for modern supply chains.en_US
