Abstract: Today, economic cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania has steadily intensified, with Romania being Moldova's most important trading partner and a supporter of its integration into the European Union. Romania's accession to the European Union in 2007 has opened up a tremendous opportunity for economic development, centered on cohesion, economic growth, job creation and sustainability. The given research involves examining economic activities and investments in Romania, providing an overview of the country, analyzing investment flows and bilateral economic relations with the Republic of Moldova. The methodology used includes the analysis of various sources, such as publications, case studies and statistical data, in order to provide a detailed picture of the economic context in Romania.
