Aspects Regarding the Role of Communication Between Public Officials and Citizens in Romanian Institutions

Abstract

The communication between public officials and citizens is the engine that drives society; therefore, it should be as clear as possible so that all citizens can understand what is happening within the society they live in. It should be transparent to avoid misunderstandings, as these often lead to disputes between social groups, and also as up-to-date as possible to prevent erroneous information from reaching the citizens and to ensure the proper functioning of society. In this document, we wanted to highlight these aspects, as well as their importance in creating a closely linked relationship between public officials and citizens.
