The paper explores the revolutionary impact of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) in the energy industry. The introduction presents the key concepts of AI and IoT, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency in the fight against climate change. The section on AI for optimizing energy consumption details energy management systems and the application of machine learning algorithms for consumption optimization in various settings. Next, IoT devices in the context of the energy industry are presented, including monitoring sensors and smart meters. Furthermore, the paper investigates how the integration of AI with IoT devices improves their efficiency and reliability, providing relevant case studies. It also addresses security risks and solutions for protecting data and systems in AI-IoT environments. An important aspect is the analysis of the economic and ecological impact, highlighting the economic benefits and reduction of carbon emissions through the implementation of AI and IoT technologies. The paper concludes with perspectives on the future of these technologies in the energy sector, offering recommendations for industry and governments to maximize their potential.
