Analiza evoluței rentabilității fondurilor de pensii administrate privat în România

Abstract

The topic of pensions in the contemporary world is becoming increasingly significant, given people's need to secure income in their advanced years. In Romania, the public pension system is proving insufficient, which has led to the emergence of private pension funds. Utilizing current legislation and annual reports from major private pension companies, we analyzed the evolution of profitability for privately managed pension funds. Ultimately, our study observed that profitability is linked to associated risks, and contributing to such funds can become a crucial aspect in securing one's future livelihood.
