Abstract: This paper explores the impact of technological innovations on bank performance. With the advent of new technologies, banks have been able to improve their operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. However, these innovations also bring new challenges and risks that banks must navigate to maintain their competitive edge. In the Republic of Moldova, the banking industry is in a continuous process of transformation and modernization, and the use of technological innovations is a strong trend in this process. Through a review of the literature and analysis of empirical studies and statistical data, this paper examines how technological innovations have affected various aspects of bank performance, including the level of profit,, deposits’ volume and speed of internal processes. The findings suggest that technology can be a powerful tool for enhancing bank performance, but effective implementation and management are crucial for success.
