This scientific approach addresses some strategic aspects related to the implementation of HRD activities within organizations. Thus, the author tried to highlight those aspects that have a greater relevance on the HRD efficiency. The activity regarding HRD must concern not only the senior management of the organization, but also all employees. The paper analyzes some aspects related to: responsibility for HRD, the budget allocated to this activity, the HRD plan, partnerships with educational service providers, etc. Methodologically, the strategic aspects of HRD implementation within the organization were analyzed through the results of the Continuing Vocational Training Survey which is conducted, at an interval of 5 years, in organizations from EU Member States. The latest results of this survey presented by the EUROSTAT Database are from 2015. The results of some strategic aspects of HRD are presented at both EU and Member State level. Also, the results are presented both for all organizations as well as large organizations separately. JEL: J44; L25; M53.en_US
