| dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to analyze two contradictory policies of international trade liberalism versus protectionism. I reflected on the history of the emergence and role of these policies as well as their evolution through concrete examples. I also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of these policies on a state's economy.
