Abstract: A company must take into account the responsibilities arising from the relationships that are defined during the operation of the organization. Over time, there have been a number of organizations that have functioned either in strict compliance with economic responsibility or with so-called social responsibility. Most organizations, however, opted to combine the two aspects, choosing a middle ground in improving the activity. A socially responsible company should not only work to maximize profit, but should also seek the well-being of different sections of society. Business social responsibility refers to its obligations to make those decisions and to take actions that are acceptable in terms of society's objectives and values. Consequently, at present, in order to prove that it is socially responsible, a company must understand the principles of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) promoted at international level and establish a clear policy in this field. Social responsibility policy is established in accordance with the requirements of the good practice guide - ISO 26000. JEL: M140
