| Abstract: | The demographic decline affects the existence of the state perspective, compromises the economic development, the well-being of the whole society, a phenomenon that has the characteristics of a latent demographic crisis. Factors are interconnected and have a significant impact on changes in demographic structure (age, gender). Demographic aging has mainly affected rural and urban areas, reaching maximum levels of over 18%, and population losses reach 30% for some administrative units.
