Abstract: The concept of "Green Economy" is hotly debated in lately because it is considered essential for the future of the economy World. Transforming sustainable economic development requires a transition with multiple implications for both governments and the private sector. The transition to a "green economy" means pursuing a policy and investment-based economy that links economic development, biodiversity, the ecosystem, climate change, and the health and well-being of the population in the medium and long term. To implement policies associated with the Green Economy, a joint effort of all countries, awareness campaigns of the importance of this phenomenon, how much and providing timely and applicable solutions. One solution to adapt the economy and its evolution to new global challenges may be the transition to the "green economy", increasingly integrating the environment into the paradigm of sustainable development.
