Abstract

The purpose of this publication is to address the characteristics of ABC stock control method. Also, here are described the stages of the method, its importance and is answered the question of why this method should be applied. ABC stock method applied to inventory management considers primarily cost reduction of basic materials and those which are consumed in large quantities. This aspect is ensured by the methodological requirement of measuring the stocks and of tracking the storage processes performance.
