dc.description.abstractIn an environment dominated by uncertainty, in which everything changes rapidly and often chaotically, it is necessary for organizations to have a strong foundation that is given by organizational culture. The impact of leadership on the performance of organizations can be huge. It is associated with the success or failure of an organization. The present research aimed at an analysis of the correlation between the organizational culture and the leadership style practiced within the company KAUFLAND, Timișoara - Romania. The results obtained, although not generalizing, they highlight the fact that within the company Kaufland Timișoara we can talk about the existence of an amicable and cordial environment between employees and their leaders, which, finally, first affects the performance of employees and then on the performance of the organization. It is demonstrated once again that the role of leaders in creating a strong organizational culture is fundamental. Safety, credibility and the ability to be trustworthy are the elements that generate at KAUFLAND Timișoara the team spirit, the pride of being part of the team, the mission that individual and company values can be harmonized. In the end, all this converges towards a high level of professional development of each KAUFLAND employee, and, finally, in increasing the performance of the KAUFLAND TIMIȘOARA company where they feel an integral part.
