Abstract: The problem of the building and consolidation of the Republic of Moldova state is closely related to the models that government and society adopt, assimilate and implement in order to achieve the desired results. It is a problem of mentality and approaching. Building the wealth of the nation and strengthening the power and prestige of the state on the international arena are directly dependent on the assimilation and implementation of the successful formulas of the rich and powerful states. As an example for the Republic of Moldova, EU Member States can serve. It is an important advantage for Moldovan nation the proximity to EU community. Using the comparative advantage, identifying and raising awareness of the factors that can lead to the well-being and their use – here are some of strategic objectives for the Moldovan government, regardless of its political affiliation – the name of the party – and of the ideological coloratura. The Western path of economic consolidation and building of an open, competitive society must be a major goal, because following this path represents a strategic contribution to the building and strengthening of the state of the Republic of Moldova. The fact that the EU is open to help Moldova on this way is an invaluable benefit. Such examples as China or “East-Asian Tigers” – states like Singapore and others, which implemented advanced Western approaches – represent a clear argument for Moldova to develop its economy in an innovative and competitive way, in order to consolidate the society and the state.
