Abstract:
Under the current conditions, e-Government is vital for public administrations to be able to deliver efficient, costeffective services that respond to the increasingly complex demands of citizens and businesses. There are, however, significant deficiencies in achieving these objectives. Studies indicate that e-Government projects are largely unsuccessful projects. Only a minority of such projects can be considered as successful projects. The adoption within the e-Government system of an interoperability model that takes into account, on the one hand, the technological achievements of the moment, and, on the other hand, the growing and sophisticated requirements of citizens and businesses, is critical to streamline efforts to implement e-Government. The purpose of the research was to analyze some considerations for e-Government in the Republic of Moldova in order to develop recommendations for the conceptual model of e-Government interoperability.
