Evoluţia economiei subterane în Republica Moldova din perspectiva integrării europene

Abstract

When signing the Moldova-EU Association Agreement then its implementation, as well as the European integration aspirations of the Republic of Moldova, there are premises that the underground economy in the Republic of Moldova can be controlled more intensively, but also diminished as a share of GDP. The experience of the European Union states in controlling and diminishing the phenomena of the underground economy can only be beneficial for Republic of Moldova, and the implementation of the already tested policies can definitely diminish and control the underground economic activities in our country. The purpose of the research is to study the experience of other states in this field and to understand how the phenomenon could evolve from the perspective of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova. Researching the experience of other European Union countries in this field will allow the adoption of effective economic policies that will lead to the intensification of the control of the underground economy in Republic of Moldova, but also its decrease. Throughout the research, it is mainly planned to use the comparison and empirical research method. JEL CLASSIFICATION: E26
