Abstract:
In the current conditions, when financing needs underpin economic growth and development, identifying viable and safe sources of investment becomes a priority for every investor. In this context, the purpose of this article is to describe the government securities as an investment tool, as well as to elucidate the main challenges faced by investors in the government securities market of the Republic of Moldova in comparison to its neighboring countries (Romania and Ukraine). Among the methods used in the article are: analytical method, synthesis method, comparison method, graphic method, etc. JEL: G11, G18, G23.
