Abstract:
The autonomy in terms of financial management is a fundamental aspect of the current trends in higher education governance. The challenge is to allow the institutions to develop their own strategic policy covering both their objectives and the national priorities in higher education. In this article are analyzed some aspects of others countries experience in financial autonomy. Also the results of research in Republic of Moldova’s universities funding within the project TEMPUS EUniAM- „Enhancing University Autonomy in Moldova” are presented.
