International Conference "Modern Finance from the Perspective of Sustainability of National Economies", November 28-29, 2025, Chişinău

Abstract

On November 28-29, 2025, the Faculty of Finance of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) successfully hosted the 2nd edition of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Modern Finance from the Perspective of Sustainability of National Economies”. The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together renowned experts from academia, the public and private sectors, including representatives of central and local public administration, as well as the banking and financial sector. The conference provided a platform for debate on key aspects of modern finance, with a focus on economic sustainability. The presentations were structured on four thematic panels, addressing topics such as: applying innovative business models in national economies; modernizing the financial sector and accelerating the EU accession process; accessing European funds and making strategic investments; challenges in the financial field at the macroeconomic and microeconomic levels; financial sustainability of the insurance sector; increasing the resilience of the economy and improving access to financing for companies.
