Abstract:
The professional inclusion of people with disabilities remains a critical global challenge that reflects the effectiveness of educational systems, labor market policies, and social attitudes. This study analyzes international educational policies and practices with a focus on Europe, where the implementation of inclusive education and employment frameworks shows persistent regional disparities. Using data from Eurostat (2025), OECD (2024), and UNESCO (2023), the research explores the relationship between access to inclusive education, skill development, and labor market participation. The findings indicate that while Western Europe achieves higher employment rates and accessibility standards, Eastern Europe has made significant progress through the alignment of educational policies with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The analysis highlights that inclusive education acts as a structural driver for professional integration, but its effectiveness depends on systemic coherence between policy, funding, and workplace practices. The study concludes that sustainable professional inclusion requires a cross-sectoral approach linking education, training, and social protection frameworks to ensure equitable opportunities for people with disabilities.
