dc.description.abstract The aim of the research is to identify and assess the relationship between lending and economic growth. The hypothesis of the analysis is that lending by the banking sector positively affects economic growth as suggested by economic theories. The methodology is based on econometric modeling using SPSS. The data series used in the regression model have a quarterly frequency; the period for which the analysis is conducted is 2007-2024. The result suggests that financial intermediation, is positively associated with economic growth. CZU: 336.77:330.35(498); JEL: E51, E63 en_US
