dc.description.abstract	This article examines the role of the environmental pollution tax in encouraging ecological responsibility and its impact on the business environment in the Republic of Moldova. The results show that the tax compels businesses to reduce excessive packaging usage and adopt more sustainable solutions, thus contributing to efficient waste management and environmental protection.
