dc.description.abstract In the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), language learning is undergoing a transformative shift, offering unprecedented opportunities for personalized education, equity, and social inclusion. AI-driven applications have redefined traditional learning paradigms by providing adaptive learning paths, real-time feedback, and interactive engagement, making language acquisition more accessible to diverse learner groups. This study explores the actuality and significance of AI in language education, emphasizing its role in bridging linguistic gaps, enhancing inclusivity, and supporting individualized learning experiences. The primary objectives of this research are to identify the most widely used AI-powered language learning tools, assess their effectiveness in skill development, and analyse learners’ perceptions of AI-driven education. The target group consists of university students enrolled in language courses, representing a varied demographic with different proficiency levels. A quantitative and qualitative methodology is employed, integrating survey-based data collection and comparative analysis of AI-based platforms. Preliminary results indicate that AI applications such as Duolingo, Grammarly, and ChatGPT enhance learners’ motivation, engagement, and linguistic accuracy while addressing educational inequalities. However, challenges such as over-reliance on technology, limited human interaction, and data privacy concerns persist. The study underscores the necessity of balancing AI integration with traditional pedagogical approaches to maximize educational benefits while ensuring ethical considerations.
