Abstract:
The present research analyses the impact of local tourism on regional development and the country's image, aiming to identify specific opportunities and challenges. The objectives are to assess the economic, social and cultural contribution of local tourism and to formulate recommendations for its sustainable development. Methods of analysis include literature review, collection and analysis of statistical data. It is expected to improve understanding of the impact of local tourism, identify strategies for sustainable development and raise awareness of its importance for the economy and the image of the country. The recommendations made will aim to maximize the benefits for the regions and the country as a whole, ensuring sustainable development of this strategic sector.
