Studying Accounting in the University Environment – Catalyst for Future Business

Abstract

This article presents the importance and benefits of studying accounting in the university environment for shaping the future generation of professionals and entrepreneurs. The research aims to highlight the role of accounting in developing entrepreneurial skills and financial management abilities among students, regardless of their chosen field of study. Research methods include analyzing specialized literature and conducting a survey among students at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The results indicate a strong perception of the importance of accounting in the context of entrepreneurship among students from faculties of economics and management. The conclusion suggests that studying accounting in the university environment contributes to the development of entrepreneurial skills and business management competencies, facilitating the planning and implementation of future businesses.
