Abstract:
In a world characterised by rapid change and fierce competition in international markets, identifying effective strategies to stimulate economic growth is an urgent necessity. This article focuses on a significant opportunity: the
strategic use of customs procedures, in particular the inward processing procedure, to boost Moldova's economic
development. The inward processing procedure (IPR) is defined as an essential strategic tool, offering companies the
possibility to temporarily import foreign materials and components. Subsequently, they can be processed, assembled and exported as finished products, benefiting from certain tax incentives. Inward processing is an essential strategic tool for stimulating sustainable economic growth in Moldova. By taking a strategic and proactive approach to the inward processing customs regime, the country can strengthen the position of Moldovan companies on the global market, attract foreign direct investment, diversify the economy and create new jobs.
