Evoluția sustenabilității - perspective și implicații

Abstract

The global economic context is based upon the concept of sustainability as a fundamental principle in a long term development, which consists of a main subject debate from the economic perspective. The main reason for this research is to investigate and evaluate the role of sustainability in the actual economy, starting from a generic definition of the term - it’s an ability of fulfilling certain wishes from the present without damaging or sabotaging any of the next future generations. The analysis has at it’s base the evolution of sustainability in the literature of speciality, going from inducting the concept to managing it till an impact or a relevancy has been made. The strategy that has been used in the research has qualitative aspects, including a summary of it’s literature, for understanding and finding evidence for different theoretical aspect of the subject. The theoretical research realises a synthesis of the extinct works in studies, theories, opinions that are relevant from past authors.
