| dc.description.abstract | This article presents the method of forming the market prices of petroleum products in the Republic of Moldova, analyzing the way of determining the ceiling prices for them and the causal relationship between the size of the ceiling price and the prices registered on the market. Following the analysis, it was possible to present the structure and calculation method of the ceiling price set by ANRE and the relationship between the setted ceiling prices and market prices by comparing their evolution over time. The possible positive and negative effects of price regulation for this product category were also analyzed.
