dc.description.abstract |
Franchising is, by excellence, the most developed and used system of international economic unification. The franchise agreement is the ideal medium for the international transfer of management concepts, technology andknow-how. The success of franchising as an instrument of international cooperation is mainly due to the combinedaction of two factors: the globalisation trend of the world economy and the trend towards sharing and reducing business risk. The current system of franchising is designed precisely to respond to the general trend towards globalisation of the economy and unification of markets. In today's economy, where international economic networks are linked by a multitude of connections and communication channels, franchising takes the form of a "world bloodsystem", which allows economic flows to be directed to all geographical areas of the world.
