dc.description.abstract	The unprecedented challenges caused by the increasing dependence on energy imports and the reduced amount of energy resources, as well as climate changes have greatly affected the economies of European states and their energy security. Due to this, many specialists consider that as the society develops, we will need all available energy resources, and the key problem that has to be solved is the optimization of consumption and enhancement of energy efficiency. In order to find a solution, it is necessary to develop and implement sustainable strategies aimed at enhancing country's energy efficiency in line with European practices, while reducing excessive and unjustified consumption.
