dc.description.abstract The purpose of this article is to present the well-reasoned legal situation of abortion under European law in order to examine, from the point of view of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights (the Court), whether the conception product is the right-holder of the right to life enshrined in Article 2 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR) and, on this occasion, to grasp the position of the European instance on the legality of pregnancy interruption.
