Abstract:
The concept and caracteristics of HDI (Human Development Index) in the Republic of Moldova, the evolution of the index through the years and what factors internal and external contribute to it’s development. The attention will be given to the dimensions (long and healthy life, knowledge and a decent standard of living) and it’s indicators; review of the Republic of Moldova’s progress in each HDI indicator through 1990-2019.
