dc.description.abstract The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked harm on global tourism. At the same time, the Kherson region, which, after the weakening of quarantine restrictions, remained one of the most popular regions for tourism. The purpose of the robots is to explore innovative projects for the use of tourist resources of the Kherson region in order to increase the attractiveness of the region for tourists, which will contribute to the growth of competitiveness. The Kherson region has unique tourist resources that are not fully utilized. To ensure the growth of the region's competitiveness, it is necessary to use its competitive advantages rationally and with the greatest effect. One of the components of the region's competitive advantages is the ability to best meet the diverse needs of consumers in the tourism industry. In order to gain a competitive advantage, the dynamic development of the tourism industry needs ideas for development. An rational and urgent issue is the development and implementation of effective and efficient projects in the field of tourism. These projects include: the creation of the International balneological resort "Eco-Horodok" on Arabatskaya Strelka, the project "La Perla Azzurra", the construction area of which is almost 600 hectares, the pilot tourist investment project "Soliana Doroha", the creation of the first museum in Ukraine dedicated to artificially flooded lands and others. The implementation of these tourism projects can make the Kherson region even more attractive for tourists at different times of the year and will contribute to the growth of the competitiveness of the region under study.
