Abstract:
Waste management is one of the important issues facing the Republic of Moldova in environmental protection activities. For the purpose of exercising state control and supervision of waste management, including waste products subject to the manufacturer's extended liability regulations, the Environmental Protection Inspectorate carries out a series of activities focused on achieving the objectives and actions set to ensure a high level of surveillance and protection. the environment, the public interest, and the ecological security of the state. However, waste governance authorities do not demonstrate adequate responsibility for effective policy implementation and management, and paper-based reforms are hampering implementation.
