dc.description.abstract Currently, in the Republic of Moldova, personal remittances represent an increased interest, being one of the most important economic indicators. The remittances represent the amount of net remuneration of employees, personal transfers and capital transfers between households, regardless of their source. Personal remittances help maintain the country's balance of payments, as well as being one of the most important factors in ensuring macroeconomic stability. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of personal remittances on the national economy, determined as a result of using research methods: analysis, comparison, and study of sources generating financial-economic information.
