Abstract:
Innovation is the focus of theoreticians and practitioners, being considered the engine of economic growth and the determining factor of competitiveness. As the practice shows, the most competitive firms innovate their products and services in such a pace than is appreciated with an annual coefficient of innovation above 0,2, innovations being a vital source for obtaining and strengthening the competitive advantage. Rapidly changing market requirements require entrepreneurs to promote a continuous innovation process, at a faster pace; giving innovation through differentiation a priority role. In this article the authors refer to activities of innovation through differentiation that can do enterprises in order to achieve performance indicators in comparison with competitors.
