Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to outline the phenomenon of crowdfunding as an alternative instrument of financing the startups on the basis of collective investment. The article describes the characteristics, existing business models of crowdfunding, as well as the benefits of this new internet-based method to raise capital. JEL: G20, G23,G29
