Abstract:
The recent evolution of the digital world presents opportunities and challenges for companies. People have never had access to the opportunity to present their ideas and visions so quickly and to such a large audience. Reputational risk occurs when running the enterprise is not equal to expectations. As the internet is constantly expanding, social media can generate and be the catalyst for a company's reputation. This paper addresses the issue of reputational risk in the context of developing the importance of the digital world and presents cases that have had an impact on the reputation of companies in the Republic of Moldova.
